Dear <<commissioner name>>,
Not only was I impressed by your move to have a task force evaluate our city's elections, I was also pleasantly surprised by their recommendations. Making a voting system change to solve our election problems, like what to do with a third-party candidate in a two-party dominant system, sounds like a great idea.
Please put the approval voting and additional commissioner recommendations on the ballot next election for us to vote on.

Dear <<commissioner name>>,
Every time I vote, I've been irritated by the choices on the ballot. I care about issues. Getting forced to try to find the lesser of two 'evils' when voting in all but the simplest races is just plain frustrating. After reading about it, I'm excited that Fargo could switch to approval voting.
Please give us the chance to vote on this reform by putting it on the ballot.

Dear <<commissioner name>>,
I support the Approval Voting recommendation from the Election Task Force. Approval voting is a sensible answer which will make sure the election results reflect what we actually want in elections, and I would love to see my home be a leader in this logical voting reform.
We could show the country that there are better ways to run elections! Can you imagine this system at work on a federal level—where we could elect representatives with higher approval ratings than the current "pick ONE" system that just pits us against each other?
I hope you'll put the task force's recommendations to switch to approval voting and add commissioners on the next ballot, giving us all a chance to vote on them.
Thanks for your time.
