Dear <<commissioner name>>,
Unfortunately, elections in Fargo aren't perfect. Not only was I impressed by your move to have a task force evaluate our city's elections, I was also very happy with their recommendations. The idea of using approval voting to solve our election issues, like what to do with a third-party candidate in a two-party dominant system, sounds like a great idea.
I hope you'll place the approval voting and additional commissioner recommendations on the next ballot for a public vote.

Dear <<commissioner name>>,
It seems like every time I go to vote I've been frustrated with the options available. I care about issues. Getting forced to try to choose the 'least evil' from different 'evils' when voting just makes me mad. The more I learn about it, the happier I am that the task force recommended that Fargo switch to approval voting.
I hope you'll give me the chance to vote on this by putting it on the ballot.

Dear <<commissioner name>>,
I support the voting system changes recommended by the Election Task Force. Approval voting is a logical solution which will make sure the election results honor the will of the people in elections, and I would love to see my home be a leader in this practical voting reform.
Fargo could show the country that there are better ways to elect people! Can you imagine this system at work on a federal level—where we could elect senators with higher approval ratings than the current "pick ONE" system that just pits us against each other?
Please put the task force's recommendations to switch to approval voting and add commissioners on the next ballot, giving us a chance to vote on them.
Thanks for your time.
